It's been over five year's time now since Ky Anto approached Neil Leyton with a ton of great songs, most of which did not have any lyrics... the two went into Halla Music studio, where Leyton had done his Midnight Sun album, and in two quick sessions that were kept secret from most of Toronto recorded the Pretty Volume album.
Years later, Ky went to retrieve the stored master reels to find that the tapestock had lost most of the audio. It was then that these mixes from the original sessions were cleaned up and mastered for release - a close call in losing what some have described as a long lost pearl of an album.
