Formed out of the ashes of venerable post-doom warriors, GURU, prick and the burn have been tearing down the city of Portland since halloween 2004 with their guitar/drum tag-team. j.frank provides the vocal sizzle and six-string bravado of over a decades worth of teen angst influence; and you can clearly hear the inevitable maelstrom of a thousand wild horses churning from j.selman's drumming, set to the sharp attack of frenzied power chords and rhythm changes. over all, watch your backs because PATB will overpower you.
Ya know what the best part about a duo is? The portability! I LOVE two chicks and a guitar - it's too easy. Now I know why you're just prick and the burn . . . no blood, bandaids, or antiseptic cream required ;)
Long Live the Lollipops! Tell your girl to add us as a friend - she currently does not accept band requests. Hmmm . . . get on her about it!
I think Portland would be an amazing place to play! I think we could actually pull it off, just these two Pops :)

Well, hello :) It seems that its time once again for a show at the Camellia. It's my favorite place around with tea infused cocktails and the best atmosphere ever (I sort of love tea). I would be terribly pleased if you could come. The show is Thursday the 3rd at 9pm in the Pearl at NW 11th and Glisan. Hope you can make it. -Kate
