We bring HIV testing to you! Knowledge is power, and when it comes to knowing your HIV status, nothing is more important than getting accurate information from people who care. Throughout the year, you’ll find PrideAlive OUTreach workers in your favorite queer bars and coffee shops providing free HIV testing. If you can’t find us around town, we’ll schedule time to meet with you at the MAP AIDSLine office, so you can get tested when it’s convenient for you.

About me:

PrideAlive was founded in 1997 with the goal of organizing our diverse gay/bi men's community around the health issues that impact us the most. Although the our goal is to reduce HIV and STDs among gay/bisexual men, our program could not function without the dedicated work from individuals from every part of the GLBTA community. PrideAlive is volunteer led and driven, and we try to have as much fun, educational, spiritual, and motivational programming to keep our community aware of HIV/AIDS, STDs, and drug abuse. We host many events throughout the year including Gay Day at Valleyfair, Camping, Paintball, our very popular Cafe Chats with MOISHA, and many, many more.
Who I'd like to meet:
Gays, Bisexuals, Lesbians, Transgenders, Straights, Queers, Questioning, Homosexuals, Heterosexuals, Men, Women, and anyone who is interested in having fun while strengthening our community!

We are having our second annual gay prom held out at The Garage which is located at 75 civic center parkway in burnsville mn 55337. We have three amazing dj's performing for the night. DJ Shiek! DJ Eugeniks! And Lady Apples. The prom starts at 6p.m and goes until 11p.m. Events for the night include dance music, picture option available, king and queen to be announced, and the event is formal dress/ but no worries it's not required. EVERYONE IS WELCOME/ And this is an all ages event!!! Cost is 10 dollars at the door or 15 for couples. We hope to see you there!!! SO save the date May 22nd which is a friday!

Additionally, this will be the final going away party for our dear friend Ms. Jen Hustler, as she makes her move to beautiful San Diego, California! WE WILL MISS YOU HUSSIE!
Easter sTEAp takes place Sunday, April 12, 2009 from 5pm-10pm at the Caterpillar Lounge, located on 26th & Nicollet in Minneapolis. Many of you are already very familiar with this space and I hope you will be able to attend! This is a new venture for the Caterpillar Lounge, as they have yet to actually have a afternoon dance/social session! The weather forecast says it will be a mild spring day, with temps in the mid-50's. Let's show the Caterpillar Lounge how we like our Sunday Afternoon recovery sessions! IN STYLE!
DJ Jam E-Z will kick off the event with a 2-hour vinyl set from 5pm-7pm and I (Robbie Lee, BeatMD) will take over the mills from 7pm-10pm. Who knows, I may even decide to bring some vinyl treats myself, if I can stand carrying the extra 50lbs of music! (LOL) Regardless, you will be certain to hear the sounds that take you underground and into the depths of the doctor!
Finally, if you do plan to attend, please feel free to invite those friends who you hold near and dear. Without you and yours, Twin Cities Cross Promotion Network cannot make this event a success. It takes a village to raise a child and you all are part of this village!
