Pride and Fall is one of the leading artists in the dark alternative electronic music scene. The music can be described as Futurepop, a recently-emerging electronic dance music genre, an outgrowth of electronic body music.
Pride and Fall have released two full-length albums, Nephesh (08.09.2003) and Elements of Silence (20.01.2006), plus being presented countless compilations worldwide. I've seen downloader's killing the electronic industry. I mean, personally my album was on the Internet six weeks before the release date. It really affected the record company I'm signed to, Maverick Records, and actually affected everyone involved.
You feel extremely disappointed (when it is out too early). I mean you spend years working on a project and then it's available six weeks before our whole campaign is set up. It's not just me, it's the other musicians, the engineers right down to the record company people, the interns, the staff that work in the cutting room, the press, the records and the CD.
