About me: The PRI Group was formed in early 2007. The paranormal trend was booming. There were books, movies, and of course TV shows like TAPS Ghost Hunters on SciFi. The PRI Group founder Daniel Coles was obsessed with the paranormal at a very young age. He began to investigate locations on his own. It wasn't until the paranormal community hit the mainstream and became a fad transforming it's structure that Coles realized he needed to form a group.
Co-Founder Patrick Heffernan and Coles had been friends and co-workers for many years in the law enforcement field. They were aware of each others passion for the paranormal and often discussed it. Heffernan had been involved with another group in the past. When Coles made the decision to form a group, Heffernan was the obvious choice to be the first person contacted.
Quickly learning that thousands of groups were forming, Coles knew that taking it slow, learning, practicing, and not damaging the integrity of the paranormal community was the only way to go. There were many stories in the media about backyard paranormal groups trespassing, damaging property, and stealing. We didn't want to be mistaken for that. Since we plan to be around long after the fad runs its course, we continue to take our time.
Who I'd like to meet: Mission Statement
We will believe our clients. We will listen and will not judge them. We will work to explain that which has caused them to contact us. We may use technical equipment to assist us in our investigation, but we are not scientists. We are investigators. We seek out answers. We will respect our clients privacy when asked to do so. We will unite with other groups or organizations whos goals are for the advancement of the paranormal community and the preservation of it's integrity.
Though we want to put it behind us because of the pain it has caused- it is impossible because of all the horrors of that day...
