Nga Tama Kino have been together for nearly 42 years we can not be a part of this competition anyway good luck to all you under 25's who do enter this is for you guys thankfully........ who wants fame we prefer infamy, we support causes, issues and kaupapa that has a social benefit rather than an all for me and none for you attitude. We support festivals that raise awareness of the decade for indigenous peoples, if only you organisers would do some festivals for the indigenous community. If after ten years your direct efforts has produced twenty nine billion dollars worldwide sales through CD's, licensing, touring etc what percentage of this goes back to the communities that produce that the mums and dads who took junior to guitar lessons from the age of three to fifteen or the daughter who was taken constantly to singing lessons for the first fifteen years of their lives to become one day some mega rich recluse who keeps all their wealth and fawns on the rest of society for the rest of their days telling the same story over and over again. If its about profit making the capitalists are always there to fuck someone over. They do this to justify their existence by categorising and rating things, issues and people, the biggest hurdle to the realisation of ones rights is the right to be what you want a very rare thing
