PRIMAL SCREAM, a Las Vegas based tribute band to Motley Crue, was formed during the summer of 2008. Founding member, James Jupiter, quickly teamed up with Donny Lee and Sikki Nixx, later recruiting Neil Vincent to complete this powerful concept band. Each member portrays a character from a different era and from the most influential Motley Crue releases. This gives a new spin to what a tribute band can be. You may ask yourself "Why did these BAD BOY rockers choose to tribute Motley Crue?". The answer is a simple one. Motley Crue crosses over all genres of rock and roll music; from glam, to heavy metal, to hard rock, and even now... pop/top40! This means that people of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy the music, as there are a multitude of hits to please everyone. PRIMAL SCREAM is a band "crue-zing" their way to, not only local, but nationwide popularity. This is a show you don't want to miss!!!
NEIL WHARTON, son of Vince Neil, and singer/frontman of ROCK AND ROLL JUNKIES, is filling in for us on lead vocals, on an "as available" basis. (*disclaimer* - We don't claim that Neil is playing in our band exclusively, although, we would certainly welcome it! There is no favoritism, nor is he endorsing us. He's just a cool MF'er who likes to play some rock and roll and have a kick ass time doing it!) Thank you Neil...
JAMES "Shout at the Devil" JUPITER (guitars/vox) If you were to put out an ad in the L.A. Times looking for a "LOUD & RUDE & AGGRESSIVE" guitarist, James Jupiter would come up from the depths of hell... through the ashes of dreams... and out of the blackness of hate... grinding out bone crushing power chords and playing the songs note for note better than ever. You would swear this demon guitarist sold his soul to the DEVIL!!!
SIKKI "Dr. Feelgood" NIXX (bass/vox) Hey, we don't call him SIKKI for nothing! He is an absolute monster on stage. So much so, that we try to keep him in a straight jacket at all times, only to have this madman shred off the sleeves and start ravaging the bass like its an all out metal orgy! There never will be a stage big enough to contain this true rockers show and energy!!
DONNY "Girls, Girls, Girls" LEE (drums/vox) The toughest role to play is taken on by Donny Lee. The drumming, the style, the charisma, the reputation... He has been known to snort a fifth of Jack Daniels off of a strippers ass. He lives by "The Code"... "Sex, Drums, Rock and Roll". Thats why the girls, girls, girls love him. Palmela Handerson says she loves Donny because he is hung like a shetland pony, twirls his stick just right, and he knows how to beat her skins!!!
NEIL "Decadence" VINCENT is the latest addition to Primal Scream. Neil naturally has the ability to match the distinct tone of his counterpart, Vince Neil. His phrasing, pitch, and timing are an exact match also. He is the voice that perfectly fits a Motley Tribute band... specifically PRIMAL SCREAM.
Just checking in, Haven't been able to come to any of the shows because I'm so far away but hope things are going well. Would like to come down for a visit sometime soon but having a lot of trouble finding work right now.
