Primal Swing is one of the best jazz/fusion combos to come from Oklahoma. All of the musicians in the band are professionals who dedicate their lives to music. With an impressive catalog of tunes ranging from John Coltrane and Miles Davis to Chick Corea, and from Weather Report to John Scofield, it seems like there isn't anything that they can't play. They are also very dedicated to writing their own original compositions.

Members of Primal Swing have performed at: Greenwood Jazz Festival, D-Fest, Azalea Jazz Festival, IAJE Jazz Convention, Chet Baker Jazz Festival, Cherry-Brook Artzz Festival, Sapulpa Jazz Festival, Mayfest, North Texas Jazz Festival, Wichita Jazz Festival, Drummers for Jesus Convention, London Psalm Drummers Convention, and several other festivals and conventions around the world.

Members of Primal Swing have performed with such diverse artists as: Bob Mintzer, Joe Lovano, Bobby Shew, Byron Stripling, Slide Hampton, Frank Mantooth, Pat Kelly, Will Campbell, Cleo Laine, Marvin Stamm, Bobby Watson, Jimmy Cobb, Mulgrew Miller, Kevin Mahogany, Conrad Herwig, Scott Wendholdt, and many other amazing musicians.
