The 3rd Parabola is the third album of originals by Prime. Recorded in the MB studios, this album was soon one of the biggest rock revelations of the year 2005 – an intangible tone in the Portuguese music scene.
This work counts with the presence of David Rosado (vocals), mentor and creator of the band, Alpha (bass), Pedro Raimundo (drums), and Alexandre Tavares (guitar).
From this work was retrieved the theme Dark Days that gave its name to the first single edited in September 2003.
This single was produced by Rodolfo Cardoso (former WC Noise) and Pedro Alves in Grave studios in Braga.
It was the year 2002. Prime launched the album Anaesthesia, a work that surprised the most faithful fans and that conquered new admirers for rock music.Live performances in the respected TV channel Sic Radical and the presence on the main stage of one of the already recognized Summer festivals – the festival of Ilha do Ermal – allowed the diffusion of this album.
But the genesis of Prime doesn’t boil up to these years.
The trials began in the city of Évora with the launching of the first maquette When the Elephant Tube is Broken. This was at the end of 1993.
At this point, Prime was constituted by David Rosado (vocals), Ricardo Gonçalves (guitar), José Gonçalves (keyboard), Fábio Quaresma (drums), Pedro Raimundo (percussion), and Gonçalo Frota (bass). This was the formation that marked its presence in several musical events in the plains of Alentejo. This formation didn’t last long, given that a life in music makes people follow their own projects and directions.
In 1994, the group prepared itself to welcome new talents – stupid guy(guitar), Ivan Basílio (bass), Pedro Raimundo (first percussion and now drums), better know as Roscoff. With an original formation that went from depressive fanatic to exuberant electric, the group has shown a huge rebellion from the start.
This attitude regarding music went along with their striking presence on stage.
Still in 1994 and after a series of concerts that included performances in the land of Her Majesty, Prime launched its first EP – Combined Efforts, a work that doesn’t stay behind the electric euphoria already accomplished on stage during its live performances.
We must also keep in mind the applause of the international critic, namely in the music magazine Rock Brigade and in the former English newspaper New Musical Express.
A few more years went by.
Prime needed some time to launch a new work.
This interval was very important for its maturity and for the improvement of all elements of the group. They took the time to concentrate on their diffusion travelling the country from North to South.
It was not until 1999 that the long term record took place.
Kid Stories was edited in Portugal but distributed in countries such as Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the United Kingdom.
This work turned into a pleasant surprise for the group. Proof of that was given by the strong adherence of the audience, by the number of albums sold and by the exceptional and faithful presence of the public in concerts held in Paradise Garage and Hard Club.

Passados alguns meses da gravação de "Under the Hurricane", os DOLLAR LLAMA preparam-se para lançar o seu primeiro trabalho.
Foram 7 anos a trabalhar com o apoio de muita gente e finalmente a banda tem em mãos a sua maior recompensa, o seu álbum de estreia.
Estes 2 dias são obviamente MUITO importantes para a banda e para o seu futuro, por isso a banda pede a toda a gente que gosta do rock dos DL para estar presente na apresentação de "Under the Hurricane"!

Ei, o video de Digamma finalmente foi lançado, para a música "Babylon Love", é o primeiro video da banda, gravado ao longo dos últimos anos por amigos e fãs, e concluido no concerto na Festa do Avante em 2008 onde maior parte foi capturado. O video contém algumas imagens em estúdio. O video foi editado pelo membro da banda Tiago e a música gravada e misturada pelo membro da banda Miguel (DalmaProductions).
