Primigenia formed in late March 2006 by brothers Hetan and Krishan Bhatt, and friends Ben Kennell and Gav Barratt. After a few weeks practise of playing covers, they then started to book gigs and burst onto their local scene, driven by the influences of bands such as Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Anthrax and AC/DC among others. Since, the band has been building up a fan base by gigging in their hometown of Leicester and the surrounding Midlands areas, and writing new material. .
