Prince Everalds consciousness-raising message has made him a popular performer on the International reggae music scene. His smooth melodic vocal style, combined with a dynamic stage presence has earned him both respect of his peers and the admiration of his fans. He received the Lovers Rock Single of the Year at the Toronto Intl. Reggae Music Awards for his single Mother, Mother in June 2005. This track is a special tribute to mothers all over the world and is taking the airwaves by storm and receiving rave reviews. He also recently released his new full-length CD entitled Prince Everald & Friends Vol. 2. This CD features artists like Grammy Kid Michael Rose, Willi Williams, Glen Washington, Nana McLean, Dougie Mack and Donna Makeda, along with the Prince himself.
Prince Everald made an appearance at the Calgary International Reggae Festival and the Montreal International Reggae Festival where he did not fail to create an impact and leave the huge crowd begging for more. He also performed at the Irie Music Festival at Nathan Phillips Square where he was spotlighted on City TVs Entertainment News singing two of his original songs. He has also appeared on the annual Canadian Reggae Music Awards, the Marcus Garvey Day celebrations, the Jamaica Day celebrations, the Toronto Street Festival, Centre Island for Caribana and Du Murier Theatre to name a few.
Prince Everald also released a 7 45 (vinyl) titled GLORIFY THE KING (Side A) and HELP (Side AA) in the year 2002, which is receiving airplay in Canada and around the world. This record is currently in stores and doing considerably well. Prince Everalds consciousness brought him to the Toronto Street Festival in 2002, Jamaica With Love Concert in October 2002 featuring the Mighty Diamonds and George Nooks and the Black Throne Judgment Concert in December 2002 featuring Capleton. He also received the Roland Alphonso Memorial Award in October 2002.
An electrifying performer, Prince Everald has appeared on stage throughout North America, England and the Caribbean. One of his first singles MONEY was noted in the L.A based Reggae and African Beat Magazine as one of the top new releases in 1988. Prince Everald has received numerous nominations for his music at the Canadian Reggae Music Awards. In 1995, he was named Top Reggae Singer at the Canadian Reggae Music Awards. He has performed with a range of high profile artists including Freddie McGregor, Sanchez, Lt. Stitchie, Yami Bolo, Cocoa Tea, Bounty Killer, Lady Saw, Leroy Sibbles, Beenie Man and a myriad of other stars.
His CD, PRINCE EVEROLD & FRIENDS released in 1999, has received tremendous airplay in Toronto and around the world. He then released PRINCE EVEROLD MEETS MOTHER LISA in the year 2000. Prince Everals continues to perform locally as well as internationally. He completed a successful series of performances at the 5-star Horizon Inn in St. Catherine, Jamaica, followed up with a busy summer of 1999 during which he performed with Leroy Sibbles, Beenie Man and Glen Washington. Performances continued in the year 2000 where he worked alongside Michael Rose and Sugar Minott. Then in the summer of 2001 he did a sold out show at the Bamboo Nightclub in downtown Toronto, after which he traveled to Chicago and wowed the audiences there with his dynamic stage presence and conscious messages. He has made appearances in Canada, England, Jamaica and Chicago to name a few. Receiving various Awards from the reggae music industry, this dynamic artist has been in the music business for over twenty years and has been releasing records and CDs ever since.
