One look and it is easy to write off the boyish good looks of this rapper as just another Bow Wow or Romeo impersonator, but one listen to his music you’ll know he deserves to be in a category all his own.
The son of an incarcerated father (who he credits for giving him the drive to rap), 15-year old, Prince Tray Gee was raised by a single mother along with four sisters & one brother. He started rapping at the age of five. Family and friends began to take notice of the amount of confidence he had at such an young age.
He would go on to join a group that his father had formed called Talionic Cartel consisting of a half brother and various relatives & associates, but once his father was sent back to prison Prince Tray Gee had to begin to figure out where his career path would take him next. “My father going back to prison really put not just my career but my life on hold as well”.
Shortly thereafter, Tony Reese, CEO of UrbanVision Worldwide Group (who is also his uncle), approached him about signing to his production and managemeNt company where he began immediately working on mixtape projects, showcases, and his album “The Prince of The Mil : Vol. I”. His first street single “Who A Boss” produced by The Beat Brothers, created a street buzz and established him as a local fan favorite.
