STARR started singing at the age of five in the church choir, and formed her first R&B group at the age of ten. Since then, she has been in and out of groups switching back and forth from hip-hop to alternative to R&B. Once a third of the Georgia Queens,local artists who have performed at several venues through out the Atlanta area, now a solo artist creating realistic rhymes and sultry songs, there is nothing to stop her from making it to the top.
Although STARR' s style is not comparable to any other, she has been influenced by the likes of Tupac Shakur, Da Brat, Erkya Badu, Lauryn Hill, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, EnVogue, Mary J. Blige, Outkast, Portis Head, Lincoln Park, TLC, Aaliyah, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, The Temptations, Al Green and so many more. She feels like music, all genres, is a part of her soul, and has an undying need to share with the rest of the world.
Starr feels that she can bring back some of the classic "feel good" emotion that ol' school music used to and still does instill in all of us. Mixing that with a brand new approach to music, she hopes to make you recapture the essence of "good music" and bring the listener a well needed breath of fresh air.
Her album consist of mostly an alternative form of hip-hop and R&B, but her goal is to dabble in all genres of music, giving the listener variety and quality sound, something that will be listened to over and over again.

They have me headlining that night with a special 45min set, and I'm not pulling any punches, I'm gonna give yall a show like MJ would ya feel me.
