| About Princess Playdate |
We think toys and non-toys should live in harmony.
We started as an experimental toy instrument duo and quickly became an experimental rock quintet. Currently, we keep the toy juice flowing with a Jaymar toy piano (a.k.a., Jameson H. Mar).
All toys aside, we have a sometimes-distorted cello, a vintage Fender, and a French horn with effects that consistently makes fans say, "I had NO IDEA a French horn could do that." They are rightfully astonished; the damn thing rocks.
The setup also contains a stack of keys, some toys, some the polar opposite of toys. The sounds emanating from the Key Stack, as commanded by Princess Bexie, are always juicy.
All five of the Princesses have done hard time at East Coast conservatories and hard drugs at West Coast house parties. We feel we are superlatively qualified for the position of rocking your face off with our tasty, unexpected, and thoughtfully concocted musical sauce.
