PRIORITY ONE
Formed in 2003, PRIORITY ONE is a diverse musical beast. Described by many different critics in many different ways, the best explanation for the sound you hear is that it is a balls to the wall excercise in invigorating Australian Rock 'n' Roll, whilst still haveing the desire and raw ability to swing things outside the box.
The main vocalists, brothers Andy and Joe 'BJ' Stevenson (Guitar and Bass respectiely) deliver soaring and instantly catchy melodies over their frantic riffing beneath, whilst Richard Stagg (Guitar) contributes frenzied vocal surges and classic guitar solos. The beast is held together by Leigh Daniels, a versatile yet relentless drummer. After many years of finding the right members, as well as finding a unique sound,l PRIORITY ONE finally worked their way into a niche style that they could truly call their own. A blood, sweat and tear drenched Rock 'n' Roll vibe that strays frequently to both ends of the spectrum; be it catchy singalong indi-pop melodies or full-on metal breakdowns. No pigeonhole is big enough to fit the musical pallete that consistantly keep PRIORITY ONES audiences on their toes, and that which will keep you coming back for more...

2009 marks an important year for PRIORITY ONE; after getting it together to write the best songs they have written so far, the recording the debut EP-
'TONGUES TIED & BLOODSHOT EYES'
was completed, and will be seeing a release through Fremantle Records and Firestarter in early February 2010. This is only the beginning....
