Regarding the tracks above, here's a bit of background for each.
TDPRI Jam track
This came from a Telecaster forum where the track minus lead Instruments was posted for those of us who were brave enough to play over the track, I added the Telecaster and the Pedal Steel with my musical interpretation.
Working Man Blues
This is the latest project that is part of my educational instruction series for Pedal Steel Guitar.
Cryin' Time Again
This will be part of my educational series for Pedal Steel Guitar soon, this one features my wife Bonnie on the vocal track. Incidentally, this is the first full recording project I did using Cakewalk Sonar, it really was more of a learning exercise as I moved from the dedicated workstation to the PC based platform. It took 3 months to get this one, even in it's rough form out of the can.
And now for the rest of the story...and yes it's all about me !
Got a Stella Guitar when I was about 12, then got a Gibson Melody Maker a couple of years later, then a Gretsch Tennessean , that didn't last long, soon after I had my 1st Telecaster purchased from Rudy's music on 48th Street NYC. Then a Twin, then a Strat, then another Tele, then another Tele, then another Strat, then another Tele, maybe a Super Reverb or two in between. At some point a Sho-Bud Maverick and a Sho-Bud Pro III entered the picture. oh, and all sorts of bands going on during all this, even a couple where we had to carry a B3 and a Leslie ! Geesh, glad those bands broke up ! Bought and sold probably a dozen or more Telecasters and Strats thru the years, wish I had them all back.
--- fast forward to 2008---
Now playing a Carter D10 Pedal Steel, a couple of Telecasters, a Strat, Fender Hot Rod Deville, Peavey Classic 30, Peavey Nashville 400, couple of active bands, no more B3's.
thats pretty much it..
