Prisoner Cinema have spent the better part of the past decade developing a sound that meshes elements of punk, metal, rock, thrash, and alternative. The band casts subtleties aside in favor of huge rock riffs and chugging rhythms. Led by legally blind singer / guitarist Paul Schmold, this trio writes songs about real life in Alberta.
The band has just released their self-produced debut full length album under the name Prisoner Cinema, a relentless 12 song venture into rock’s heavier side.
So roll down the windows, pop the collar, and let the hair grow out in the back - Prisoner Cinema is bringing raw basement rock back to the City of Champions.
