The Gothenburg based band Private Angus releases a new album February 8. With 2 new band members there is a sound and performance which have fallen into the right pocket. The music is a bit punchier, with more guitars and not as neat as on the 2006 debut album. The lyrics have a smell of Bon Scott/Bloodhound gang attitude and the music sounds both retro and fresh at the same time - as if Mando Diao meets Beatles in a way.

Private Angus 2nd album "Holmby Hills" got out February 8 and it..s a huge sucess. According to their producer "the best album recorded in Music á matic in over 10 years.
The Gothenburg based band Private Angus released a new album February 8. With 2 new band members there is a sound and performance which have fallen into the right pocket. The music is a bit punchier, with more guitars and not as neat as on the 2006 debut album. The lyrics have a smell of Bon Scott/Bloodhound gang attitude and the music sounds both retro and fresh at the same time - as if Mando Diao meets Beatles in a way.
The album consists of 11 new songs recorded in Music à matic Studios and produced by Private Angus together with Mikael Nilsson and Henryk Lipp, known for his work with, Union Carbide, Thåström, Millencollin and many others. The debut album was released by Plugged Records while the new album is released on the bands own label Infinite Music but distributed by Plugged.
