Sounds Like
A tribe of omnisexual CHUDs trying to learn The Fixx and Peter Gabriel songs without the benefit of having heard either one.
Once upon a time, Private Sector was a band...then some members quit and others came in then they eventually broke up.
In 2007, the quintessential lineup from the late-'80s of Chris Strange, Don Barley and Brian Christopher reformed minus guitarist Rich "Rockin Riff Rooster" McComb who was tending to his hair farm north of Toronto. Longtime band friend and groupie Stuart Green stepped up in an attempt to fill Rich's large red Converse All Stars...he was wished good luck with all that. In re-inventing the band, a decision was made to give it a more organic and less programmed sound. So Don moved over to full-time bass duties while Robert Stone, keyboardist in the later incarnations of the band, was back in the fold behind the rack. The new band has started rehearsals with an eye to recording a new album in the fall with a 2008 world tour planned. Take that, Genesis and The Police. If and when that fails, they'll play at least one show in hometown Toronto and one in upstate New York where they experienced their greatest successes.
