We are The Privy Council,based in Swords, co.Dublin Ireland. The band members are Terrence Mc Guirk (vocals) and Dave Campbell (music,arrangements,engineering and production) we have just completed our second album entitled 'Automatic Genesis'. For us,the creation of our music is a very natural affair,we try not to dictate what our music should sound like, and prefer to let our music develop organically as we interact with it on a subconscious level . Like any other art form our music is a manifestation of elemental thoughts and ideas, that for us, come to fruition in a dark,progressive,atmospheric yet orchestrated melodic form laced with introspective and cranially captivating lyrics. Both band members have served their terms of duty through the years, playing and performing separately and together with various other musical ensembles,bands,singers and instrumental entity's, incorporating many different forms of music, but after many years both Dave and Terrence have decided to stick to 'their own formula' of musical creation due to the souly satisfying results and sense that this music has to ability to create introspective, and self reflective scenarios in your own imagination thanks to the heady cinematic aural atmospheres created, and the captivating, nigh-on prophetic vocals, that take your hand and lead you to a very different place.... Could this be the music that touches the collective mind of a new generation.......? ''
