About me:

Pro Animals Finland registered association (PAFi) is a Finnish animal protection organisation founded in 2005. Since 2006 we have cooperated with a Romanian animal protection association, Pro Animals Romania, that maintains a shelter of over 400 homeless dogs (without any help from the city) in Tg-Jiu, Romania. Together we have cooperated in various projects including the god dog programme to ensure the welfare of the shelter dogs, education programme in schools of Tg-Jiu and therapy dog programme at an elderly care home. Our greatest challenge is to build an EU-standard quality animal welfare and community centre with a shelter for the homeless animals, a veterinary clinic (that would enable a long-term neutering programme to reduce the number of stray animals) and modern facilities for the community to the outskirts of Tg-Jiu.

    Hello ~ thank you for being a friend of Moonwarriors. 800 dogs & cats are killed every hour in the US, often by inhumane methods such as gassing or heart sticking. This cruel disposal of homeless & stray animals is paid for by your taxes. Sponsors of petitions promoting no-kill alternatives have shown that it would be more cost effective & humane to fund spay-neuter programs, adoption schemes & sanctuaries.
