company, Probot Productions, specializes in miniature movies and effects. I've
made several parodies and shorts starring action-figures and dolls for cable access

5² is the movie i'm most proud of.
My fanfilms led to a commissioned job making Star Wars action-figure movies for
Hasbro, Inc. A dream of mine came true when I got to make the Official toy version
of STAR WARS: A New Hope!
My movies are somewhat controversial due to their unauthorized use of copyrighted
characters, etc.
Though most people agree that my movies are legal because they are parodies,
the subject is currently being debated in our higher education system. My movies
are an example of what's being called a new artform, Media
Convergence. My movies and website have been included on the syllabus of
several schools including M.I.T.,
and the University of
Wisconsin which shows ALIEN
5² in class and includes it in the final
exam.
Though my passion is in miniatures, I have a lot of experience on full sized sets as well. Check out my credits on IMDb. I have worked on Telly award winning commercials and learned visual effects from Academy Award winning effects masters. I have also produced, shot, and directed a full size TV spot for a local business.
Probot Productions is currently in pre-production on an all original animated
feature that will take the company beyond the realm of fanfilms and into uncharted
territory, blending old-school and digital effects in our own unique style to
create a comic-like animated universe.
