About me:

GAVIN WELLS... Fugitive Comedy

LAPD File #NK700873AZ2
Name: Wells, Gavin
Known aliases: Vito "One Thumb" Cangilosi
Known professions: Artist | Actor | Comedian | Writer | Filmmaker
Current location: Los Angeles, CA

Initial report (9/12/06): LAPD has opened an investigation with regard to the possible criminal activities of Los Angeles County resident, Gavin Wells. LAPD has witnessed an upsurge in general civic disturbances up to the time of this report and beginning on or about July 8th, 2006; directly coinciding with Mr. Wells' move from Raleigh, North Carolina to Los Angeles. This investigation is to remain active until sufficient evidence is compiled to allow for Mr. Wells' arrest and subsequent prosecution. [Contact: #456D54G, Det. Ron Heaver, 555-862-7892]

Update - Evidentiary details (4/22/07): "Funny things" began happening throughout LA/Orange Counties commencing with Wells' introduction of several comedic short films to the World Wide Web (a.k.a., the "Internet") in early 2007. Generally well received, Wells' projects have broad comedic appeal. Though street-level units report a noticeable rise in neighbor-on-neighbor violence and unprovoked animal attacks at times of Wells-related high download activity.

A thorough background check revealed no priors. However, investigators have established that he's originally from New Jersey... so, he MUST be up to SOMETHING. It's also suspected Wells may be suffering from a degenerative brain disorder as he's been married twice and is looking at a third time. Investigators have no other viable explanation for this behavior. Related documents show Rampart division detectives unanimously admit his fiance is "pretty damn cute." Undercover photos of the woman in various states of undress tend to support this assertion.

Wells is observed to be a cunning, highly skilled and award winning art director as well as a solid stage and screen performer. The many tools and tricks he's accumulated over 10+ years of creative exploration have well prepared him for creating great content... and also make him a very dangerous man. Versed in dramatic and comedic writing styles, Wells is known to kill with mere words alone - as is witnessed by the nickname given to him by Jersey City Mafia notable, Anthony "Tony Rimshot" Aldente... "L'uomo che uccide con la commedia." An Italian phrase meaning, "The man who murders with laughs." [Det. R. Heaver]

Case update (12/28/08): Gavin Wells recently updated his personal website at www.gavinwells.com. From information disclosed on the site, it's obvious he's planning something BIG in 2009. LAPD will continue its efforts in following this man's movements and highly encourages citizens to diligently watch all of Wells' projects for signs of possible felonious activity. Please report any "funny business" to local authorities, friends and family. [Det. R. Heaver] End File_
