MC Prodez is a gangsta rapper based in Neasden, London.
His music is hip hop/garage based and relies ..boards and drum machines for that raw sound that he's so famous for. He was abandoned by his mother at an early age but he is a hectic rapper so he can write page after page. Try it with him you'll get some blups in your face, don't mess with him and his loving race.
He's got chicks hangin round him, and sometimes he can't handle it, he gotta say NO...BO! He's too hectic for the human race, he'll smack you in your fat face. He hates grungies they get on his nerves sometimes he gotta give them what they deserves. He's a gangsta! He's so cool! Come to his mansion see his swimming pool!
His enemies include 'Vanilla Ice', it has been heard that MC prodez could eat 'Vanilla Ice' with a flake and choclate sauce.... No... strawberry sauce. Other enemies include 'Blazin Squad'(although he admires the squad's work). Similar artists include Dizee Rascall, and his influences include Dr Dre and Jay Z. He has an up and coming album 'Sum Tymz' including the hits, 'Can't Test Me', 'It's All About Me (Grimey Mix)' and the classic 1st Demo, which was recorded in the ghetto.

There is something about the underground Rap Scene that has always appealed to me as a music journalist. Maybe it's the dangerous, exciting nature of the whole scene. In my personal experience, no one embodies the genre in such a way as MC Prodez. Hailing from Neasden, a small section of London, England, Prodez' work never ceases to amaze. What is it that makes MC Prodez so different and vital? For one, he creates all of his own beats, using nothing but a laptop. Beats are usually written and recorded in Prodez' flat, yet for the new album he has invested in studio time.
Prodez Burst onto the scene in 2001, with a song that would later become an underground classic. 'Page After Page' captured what many people had been trying to say for so long, and it is likely that this is what earned him such early success. He then, as soon as he had arrived, seemed to disappear again. It was later revealed that he had begun working on an album, yet had scrapped it due to creative issues. His return was not announced until early 2004, where an anonymous post on his website merely stated 'Prodez is coming'. While this alone was not very clear, Prodez gave this writer a very exclusive interview, revealing much of his plans for the future. Prodez announced that he was once again, working on a debut, although this time he was much more serious. The tracks were all written and almost complete. He even stated an estimated November release date. It was hard at first not to dismiss this as talk, however, updates to Prodez' myspace page, featuring previews of unheard material, made many people realise that Prodez was back, and that this time, he was serious. - Lewis Harper, TFMA Magazine
