""Perfect" is an album that you can't afford to sleep on. The production is unbelievable and Proe's lyrics are in a league of their own. There's a taste of everything on this album, Proe used many types of influences to create this genre bending piece of work. This is an album that had plenty of vision and thought put into it and it shows. This won't be the last time you here the name Proe, and you can count on that." - www.heavycontact.com
"While Proe's new album isn't perfect, it still ably accomplishes experimental rap album goals: he established his own style, and made music that isn't only bearable, but actually Grade A quality. If he makes even more progress, a flawless LP isn't out of the picture." - HIPHOPSITE.COM
“Who The Fuck Is Proe” is exactly what comes to mind after listening to this sophomore release from the rapper hailing from Santa Cruz, CA. The aptly titled song is one of many eclectic tracks that make up this curious blend of rock and hip-hop that leaves one wondering: where did this guy come from and why have I never heard him before? The disc incorporates Proe’s rhyming backed by a thick harmonica on “Sleeping With The Television On,” a doo-wop sound straight out of the fifties on “Always Something New,” and a soulful chanting on “Why Are You Here.” The bottom line: do your mind a favor and buy this album. - www.SYNTHESIS.COM
"Proe, delivers to the indie hip-hop scene what many artists tend to forget is at its core - good music."
- glidemagazine.com
"But for those forward-thinking individuals who understand that hip-hop doesn't always have to be confined to neat, little boundaries, I can guarantee that you'll love this album. Period. It's one of those rare cases in life where you're given something you didn't even realize that you needed."

"Although rap as a category is overly saturated, Proe has managed to keep his second compilation fresh and uniquely appealing to both die-hards and new comers alike."
- socal.com
"This was my introduction to Proe, and I must say that I'm quite pleased to meet him. Do yourself a favor and go learn who Proe is yourself."
- hiphopheadstk.com
"Yet even though Proe the producer is the star of the show on this album, Proe the rapper is no slouch either."
- spitkickers.com
Proe is like...hmm....let's see.....imagine waking up on a stranger's kitchen floor (half naked, and hungover of course) and somehow finding something you lost a long, long time ago, yeah...whatever that means it's sorta like that, I guess. Mumbo Jumbo aside, Proe is actually just a halfway decent rapper, a marginally talented producer, a simplistic writer, disgracefully bad freestyler, and downright awful singer. But somehow, for whatever unexplainable and painfully illogical reason, him and his friends are always better than the guy who in all fairness is technically a better rapper with super interesting rhyme patterns, or delightfully clever punch lines, or awe inspiring off-the-dizome skill. For whatever mind numbingly mysterious unreasonable acts of chance, this asshole who calls himself Proe always seems to just be disgustingly cooler. I know, I know....I hate it too. In fact you know what? Fuck Proe and his stupid little songs about his stupid little life, his stupid little sarcastic raps and whatever else that stupid jerk does with his oh-I’m-so-fucking-whatever time, motherfucker. I have an idea, let's all hold that son of a bitch down and we'll all take turns kicking him in his stupid, ridiculous, loser face.
