proeff is an electronic musician, who grew up in
the age of digital music. Risen up in the east of Berlin he discovered electronic music in the
early 90´s.
It all started with a mass of cool tapes, he recorded/collected/bought/found/traded/etc.
The first partys in div. clubs like ElectroKohle, Tresor, WMF, Casino, Nontox, Ostgut, Polar TV, etc. followed soon
Inspired by the sound of
artists like Surgeon (Counterbalance), Cristian Vogel (station 55 rec.), Dave Tarrida (sativae/tresor rec.) and later dapayk aka. Marek Bois (mos ferry, rrygular), jay haze (tuning spork, contexterrior), Ricardo Villalobos
(perlon, frisbee), pheek (archipel),
Cabanne (minibar), miskate& friends (foundsound/unfoundsound), he decided to learn how to
mix some kind of music and bought his first vinyls.
But spinning vinylz isn&8217;t all & so he discovered the world of digital music-producing in 2004
In 2005 proeff & eska fumain
(a very good friend of him) discovered Ableton Live for their
musician-requirements in mixing and also in producing loops, tools and tracks.
They launched the community-project, live-act keep it deep
The idea of this community contains the attitude to leave the whole
electronic music lifestyle in non-commercial levels as much as possible.

In 2006 proeff started a relationship with the producer &
live-performance-act Dr. Nojoke
He mixes and combines supplied tracks of Dr. Nojoke´s work from 2005 until now on mixotic.net (a cool net label for free dj-mixes).
His music-style is based on electronic samples from (field-) recordings and different software tools,
squired by clikno - percussion/drum-lines,
some
housy/funky/bleepy/ambient_TuNEz & diverse vocal-sounds.
