ON the first day of spring, Zak, his dog Ziggy, and his friend Ivy plan to go fishing. But what they find at the river is beyond their wildest imagination. Professor Aquius Botanicus Angelicus arrives from the planet Quantia in search of pure water to fuel his unlikely spaceship – a giant bubble. He must find the water quickly, in order to return home to his planet for the Rainbow Festival - held once every billion years - so Zak and Ivy agree to help.
