Born under a sad sign many lifetimes ago, the Professor (then known as George) lived his early years through constant struggle. Uncertainty gripped every thought as a search for meaning bore heavy on his soul. All was not lost however, as a change to his fate was long overdue. Whilst high upon a mountaintop, at the crossroads of his very existence, he was visited by a white dove that spoke to him in golden tones offering guidance & light. All it asked in return was George's mind. A deal was struck for it was such a small price to pay.
The dove proclaimed 'My child, from this moment you shall be known as Professor Yaffle'. Into a blaze of fantastic colours the dove disappeared, but not before uttering the immortal words 'Never forget. The eyes are the windows of the soul'. Time passed as it tends to do, until almost without warning the Professor found himself in the unfamiliar setting of the 21st century. By this point our hero had adopted the form of a human. A hermit, to be more precise. Amongst his many followers was a music man, known only as John. In exchange for guidance (for that was what he lacked), John had taught the Professor some basic chords. Now, living as the husband of a wife & the father of 2 daughters, the Prof creates music from his guitar of 6 strings. Such is it's wonder that
it brings enlightenment & inner peace to the uninitiated. Anyone suffering from panic attacks, schizophrenia or mild hysteria, he's your man. The secret formula of his specially crafted sounds will soothe your mind & infiltrate negative brainwaves. Some day soon, you may be chosen to become one of his disciples. If so, just lie back, relax and as the first magical bars enter your head, listen beyond the music to your soul. It's the Professor's voice you'll hear; 'Do not be afraid. Go into the light. Your work here is done'.
