When was the last time you heard a hiphop song about murder, how good someone is at murdering, or
how hard it is for said person to be murdered? If you like hiphop, you're probably listening to one right now.
How about a song about million dollar drug deals made by someone who's chain was bought at a booth in the local mall?
Well if you're looking for that, congratulations, you gotta keep looking. Because you won't find ANY of that in
Profit Money's music. Profit Money is not a drug dealer, killer, gangster, doctor, or property owner.
Well who is he then? He's a 26 year old college student (shuttup, he bloomed late) with a twisted sense of humor,
a love of irony, and a penchant for not-so-thought-out outbursts. Under a thin veil of awesome lies a bubbling ocean of
raw, unfiltered emotion which he proudly displays on every track like mounted wolf heads in Sarah Palin's living room.
But what does this mean for you? Well it means that in almost every track you are guaranteed to find a subject you
can relate to as a person. Rather than write about fantasy, Profit Money prefers to keep his song topics rooted in truth,
justice, and the American way. Well, not entirely. Occasionally you can catch him rhyming about his troubled past, or deepest wishes. But don't expect too much of that. His music is almost entirely self produced, his voice is best characterized as gritty,
with a slight hint of a lisp, which studies agree, thoroughly adds to the awesome.
As of right now Profit Money is working on his as yet untitled solo debut album, called "As Yet Untitled Solo Debut Album". Again, the
album will be almost entirely produced by Profit, with guest production by Seven, 95, and DJ Monstalung. Coming YEARS after the
hugely successful release of "The Wake Up Call" which featured the ever popular "Country Roads Remix", his album is one
of the most anticipated releases of 2010. Many of the albums advanced singles, like "Goin' Hard", and "Lost that Feeling Again"
can be found on his Myspace.
