Profound Images is the company behind Sal Ciavarello's 2001 Indie Horror Film: HPE: HARDCORE POISONED EYES.
My first feature length horror film was "HPE: HARDCORE POISONED EYES" (2001)
Inspired by the films of Dario Argento and George A. Romero at an early age. I was bit by the horror film bug very early in life.

"Ciavarello has managed to create a gut-wrenching nightmare that recalls the low-budget ingenuity of films like Halloween, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Night of the Living Dead. It's as smart as it is frightening." -Michael B. Scrutchin, FLIPSIDE MOVIES.COM

"Director Ciavarello delivers both suspense and shocks...The movie's examination of the issue of faith, or lack there of is more realistic than attempts to do the same in films like"The Exorcist" or "The Omen."...Creepy, tense and thought provoking horror movie." - Rusty White, Entertainment Insiders, einsiders.com
