Animal rights/welfare,pitbulls,humane education,veganism and HORROR is my daily religion. Everything else compliments the first such as my HORROR writing, running, music, and living life with such pleasure. Supporting my daughter in every aspect of her life is a huge part of my interests. I tend to be very curious about new things so anything can be added to my list of interests if it floats my boat.

All animal rights artists are on the top of my listening list. Rise Against, 30 Seconds to Mars, Blue October, AFI, My Chemical Romance, Daniel Powter, and so many more artists are flooding my IPOD. Music is usually playing in my house at all times and inspires me to jump around my house like a mad woman. Ohh..and yes I am the obnoxious loud singing chick that is screaming lyrics in my car with the windows down.
Movies
Every blood and gore movie that has great character interactions and an amazing plot with realistic dialogue. So you guess which movies that could be. But I do have a library of movies that I think are Kick Ass in not only horror but LOVE smart comedy
Television
Alright..I tend to watch too much TV which I'm told sucks but I love my Family Guy, CSI, Law and Order, Dead Like ME, and music videos from Fuse. I do have a life but certain things on TV inspire me to write and laugh
Books
Book worm for real and not afraid to admit it. I buy books with the concept that one day I will buy a home to convert a room to a library. I love the smell of books and words turn me on. Seriously..they do.
Heroes
My daughter is on the top of my list due to our matching bleeding hearts. Lorri Bauston who runs an amazing rescue for farm animals which is located 45 minutes from Los Angeles is Animal Acres. You can check out this lovely sanctuary at www.animalacres.org.

I also share my heart with my 2 rescued doggies that make me crack a smile a million times a day. I use to have more rescued doggies in my home but the years caught up to them and they passed away. I miss those crazy times with Raven and Camelot so much but at least I have tonz of pictures to remember them by!!
I balance my kindness to all with an obsession to music, movies, vegan food and cooking, family, and running my worries away in whatever weather.
One day all will know me as the best female HORROR writer. Keep your eyes open to that happening one day soon because I find that our horror writers lack female influence. And yes...that means I LOVE horror movies (if they are good which is not happening in these recent times).
Who I'd like to meet: Any person that will win a place in my mind and heart will have to be beyond kind to all living creatures. It's a fact that even with my sweet nature; I will turn viciously on someone that mistreats an animal or a person just for the pleasure of it. So to keep this part simple, an amazing soul that is creative, emotional, empathetic, hopefully vegetarian and is a leader in making things happen will get my attention.

Maddy, the dog that was sick, died recently but she's up in heaven with the rest of my animals. I now have a rescued pitt mix who thinks he's a lap dog. He showed up on our ranch property the exact month that Maddy had her stroke. Life has its way of working things out. He's going through some training soon because apparently he wasn't kept with momma long enough to learn not to mouth but he's 1 so I can work with that. I am in Fort Worth now and I am proud to say PEOPLE LOVE ANIMALS HERE! And I meet vegetarians/vegans ALL the time so my conviction is furthered. By the way they have some of the cutest animal rights and pitt merchandise on cafepress.com. I bought bumper stickers off of Cafe Press that say "Obey the pitt bull" and "Teach your children to be kind to animals, they'll figure out the sex thing on their own".
