After a long debate between musicians, record companies and experienced progressive rock fans of my former blog talking about legal and illegal downloads , and also based upon the wish of all of them, I have decided to create a website called :
By mutual agreement with musicians and / or record companies , I have received from them some of their albums ,If I have not bought this one yet...
* 1 or 2 songs are available to free download from my website according to their request... But now, I just put 1 or 2 songs only in listening...
* The quality of the downloads is only 128-192 kbps...
In the near future , I will probably include to my website titles as " Demos" : New bands coming from various countries.
All those steps have the main purpose : to let the public and potential buyers discover the largest range of the progressive scene...
This would be a great honnor for me to ask for your help in this business to include on my website some of the titles of your discography, in the limits of your possibilities...
Personnaly, I think that one can easily miss the opportunity to meet excellent contemporary music bands but above all past bands , just because not being able to listen carefully to 1 or 2 songs before purchase...
Actually, afer only 10 month of business, the average of the website visits is about more than 300 visitors per day and 150 and more listen per song ... and many bands and labels like the legal and serious style of my site...
(NEXUS, PENDRAGON, MANGROVE, GALAHAD, CROSS, BEARDFISH, ARAGON... etc... PROGRESS RECORDS (Suede), RECORD RUNNER, VIAJERO INMOVIL RECORDS (Argentine), MUSEA (France), PROGROCK RECORDS (USA)... etc... )
That seems to me to be a very encouraging beginning!!!...
