About me: Since 2002, Progressive Arts Alliance has been exciting students, teachers, and the general public with dynamic arts-in-education programs that showcase the depth and the scope of the contemporary arts.
PAA is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization and a collective of contemporary artists with a deep commitment to dynamic arts education.
Programs of PAA include performances, workshops, assemblies, lectures, conferences, residencies, and camps focused on the contemporary arts. We seek to make the arts accessible to students of all ages regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, education, or income level. PAA works hard to provide stimulating programs that are at the cutting edge in term of artistic merit and methodology in education.
Much of PAA's educational mission centers around the utilization of the contemporary popular arts as a compelling educational tool.
Each Progressive Arts Alliance program supports out mission of providing experiences in the contemporary arts that stimulate critical thinking and promote progressive thought.
Who I'd like to meet: Students, teachers, and artists who are interested in arts education programs that use hip-hop, filmmaking, and other contemporary arts in fun and engaging ways.

ok the show is on sunday september 9th at rockstar - peabody's 2083 East 21st St. tickets have to be bought directly from me, stephen, or eazy ($8) or else if tickets arent bought before the show theyre $10 at the door doors open at 6:50, the show starts at 7:00
performers get 2 guests to get in free so you would be one of those guests obviously i think that would be sweet if doc could come so you shoujld tell him about it, and if he can go, he could be the other guest guests have to be there at 5:30 while the performers are loading up and stuff
