Seriously - the real-life professions of the hosts and regulars include a research director for a major arms control think tank, a political reporter, a K Street power player from a major firm who moves in both Republican and Democratic circles, a consultant and former Brookings Institution researcher who ghost-wrote a chapter for Condi Rice in a major policy study, an active-duty WMD expert, a practicing attorney and constitutional law expert, and an honest-to-god Rocket Scientist just to name a few...

The More Me Show is Progressive Blend Radio’s flagship original show and is streamed live every Sunday evening from 5 - 10pm Eastern, then chopped up into tasty, hour-long segments for podcasting. Every week the show offers an intelligent, progressive, and hilariously scathing take on politics, world events, culture and music. No punches are pulled, if the Democrats act like idiots we'll be the first to pound them for it, and because all the folks involved are politics junkies and policy wonks working inside the Beltway, you're sure to hear a thing or two on the show you won't hear anyplace else.

Being in DC also helps us get great guests and cover important events in DC live. We've interviewed people like Dr. Justin Frank, and David Swanson of afterdowningstreet.org, and the show has broadcast live from events like Camp Democracy and the Impeach for Peace March on Washington, DC. Plus, the hosts are also musicians, so the show regularly features local and regional bands with progressive political outlooks performing live in the studio and talking politics.

The aim is for Progressive Blend Radio to educate, motivate, empower and entertain people like me who have had enough and are ready to get busy with the job of saving the country. We hope that the programming and blogging will help educate people about the issues we’re facing and facilitate communication between people. We hope what We’re trying to do in our own small way will help motivate people to do something in their community, and show them how much even one person can do these days, especially now that they’ve got those internets on the computer.
