People say I'm crazy doing what I'm doing,
Well they give me all kinds of warnings to save me from ruin,
When I say that I'm o.k. they look at me kind of strange,
Surely your not happy now you no longer play the game,
People say I'm lazy dreaming my life away,
Well they give me all kinds of advice designed to enlighten me,
When I tell that I'm doing Fine watching shadows on the wall,
Don't you miss the big time boy you're no longer on the ball?

Back in 1933:
I told a policeman in Grand Central Station Dan Gregory's address. He said it was only eight blocks away, and that I couldn't get lost, since that part of the city was as simple as a checkerboard. The Great Depression was going on, so that the station and the streets teemed with homeless people, just as they do today. The newspapers were full of stories of woker layoffs and farm foreclosures and bank failures, just as they are today. All that has changed, in my opinion, is that, thanks to television, we can hide a Great Depression. We may even be hiding a Third World War.

The world is undergoing two revolutions, one with bad global corporate beer, and one with good, local beer. To put a new spin on Emma Goldman's famous quote: "If I can't drink good beer, it's not my revolution." So here's to all the beer activists fermenting revolution!

How To Fulfill Your Desires --
"Keep your desire turning back within
and be patient.
Allow the fulfillment to come to you.
Gently resist the temptation to chase your dreams
into the world; pursue them in your heart
until they disappear into the Self,
and leave them there.
It may take a little self-discipline, be simple,
be kind, stay rested.
Attend to your own inner-health & happiness.
Happiness radiates like the fragrance from a flower
and draws all good things towards you.
Allow your love to nourish yourself as well as others.
Do not strain after your needs of life,
it is sufficient to be quietly alert and aware of them.
In this way life proceeds more naturally, effortlessly.
Life is here to enjoy.
