About Progressive Groove Academy

Sous lacronyme PGA, le groupe montréalais Progressive Groove Academy est un incubateur de créativité musicale puisant sa source dans lunivers de la musique dite progressive. Les ambiances émanent de rythmes costauds à la croisée du rock et du funk ainsi que denvolées mélodiques singulières rappelant lépoque fusion marquée entre autres par les virtuoses Zappa, Jeff Beck et Rush. Les cinq complices dinfluences musicales diverses explorent un univers sonore ou limprovisation est prédominante. Les couleurs musicales reflètent le sens aigu de PGA pour lesthétisme musical. Le son résolument moderne du souffle puissant du saxo, jumelé aux motifs de guitares ingénieux transporte lauditoire dans mode musical à la fois énergique, positif et accessible. PGA offre un album éponyme de musiques originales ficelées grâce à la lunicité et la complicité des membres. Progressive Groove Academy est un artiste du label montréalais KJ Records et lalbum est disponible chez les disquaires indépendants.
