Michael Ophime aka Lyquidd has built a reputation as successful promoter and crowd pleaser. Influenced by the Chicago house scene his initial events appearing in the Midwest set him apart for other local promoters. With theatrical themes and the best talent he quickly became a local favorite among party goers. In 1992 He assisted with the opening of the Underground pioneering the first electronic music venue happening in Madison, Wisconsin. This paved the way for a new generation of electronically influenced clubs to follow.
After completing college he relocated to FT Lauderdale, Florida in 1995 to peruse a career in the function of a freelance audio engineer providing audio support representing the Florida Panthers, Miami Heat, Florida Marlins, Miami Dolphins, 1995 Stanley Cup Finals, 1997 World Series and Super Bowl XXXIII.
20 years ago he started to Dj and promote a number of pivotal events taking part in the rave culture starting in Madison, Wisconsin in 1989. As an event promoter, Michael Ophime successfully promoted or assisted with over 60 events across the Southeast, Midwest & Southwest U.S. over the span of 20 years, while harnessing his DJ skills during these years he has performed alongside some of electronic music most pivotal artist.
In 2009, he relocated to Arizona. Studio bound for the last few months the end of 2009 will see some good chunky progressive tracks. Stay Tuned
