Directors whose films have impacted my way of doing things the most: Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, Francis Ford Coppola, Park Chan-Wook, Alfonso Cuarón, Mamoru Oshii, Danny Boyle, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Katsuhiro Otomo, David Fincher, and of course, myself! Always learn a lot from my own mistakes and achievements... heh.

Heyo, this is Adrian Santiago! I am a Director, Writer, Cinematographer, Editor, and just about anything else you can imagine. I am leader and war chief of a band of rebellious independent filmmakers flying under the banner of Project Black Studios: Many of whom you can find in my top friends list!
We primarily work with High Definition video, and have the equipment needed to tackle most types of productions: Film, television, live events, corporate/education projects and more! We are equipped to handle preproduction, principal photography and post production including video editing solutions on a Quad-Core PC-Based (Adobe Premiere) platform and an Intel Core 2 Duo MAC-based (Final Cut Studio 2) platform.

I've got a bit of everything tucked under my belt: I have a degree in Radio/Television Broadcasting, I'm one of three team captains on the videography team for the 2009 AFI Dallas International Film Festival, I've taught HD Filmmaking Workshops in Dubai... I am a heavy thinker, and a loud speaker. I'm not fooled by political bias in the news media. I do what I say, and I say I can do a lot. I'm not restricted by practical confines, I'm not limited by budget... also, I'm a lot nicer than most of my pictures would have you believe! I am a filmmaker!

Adrian, good job on GRIM. We were there. I would really like to compliment the art direction. Some of the best set design, wardrobe, and overall art direction I've seen locally. That stuff usually gets little attention or is forgotten altogether on indie projects. Anyway, I know you had a blast the other night, man!

About this project
The Kondelik Brothers are making a feature length film called, "THE MAD HATTER". After shooting the promotional scene(see video above) for under $300 the response has been wonderful!

The Story:
The Mad Hatter is an Alice in Wonderland tale overdosed with carnage, madness and terror!
Ecila City is on the verge of destruction after a drug dealer, Derek, tries "the most powerful drug" on the market called, THE MAD HATTER. Waking hours later, Derek finds himself in the middle of a massacre. Now, Derek and a beautiful prostitute, Rita, are inadvertently thrown into the mouth of chaos as they are persistently pursued by an unstoppable hook wielding killer known as The Enforcer. As the line between fantasy and reality begins to blur Derek questions his own sanity and the horrors that follow are just a taste of what the Hatter has in mind for us all.
