creature. Eager to help her prove her story to her skeptical husband
(and validate his own childhood experience), Ben enters a bet with
his boss and enlists the help of his childhood buddies and a famous
reality TV film crew to track down the skunk ape.
---PROJECT DETAILS---
“Skunk Ape Hunters in Texas” is a
feature-length horror comedy in the vein of “Shaun of the Dead”,
Written and produced by John P. Clark in association with
Award-Nominated independent filmmaker Adrian Santiago of Project
Black Studios (“Grim”) and Award-Nominated special effects
artist, Garrett Wilkerson. “Skunk Ape Hunters in Texas” will be
shot in full high definition with CineAlta-certified equipment (as
used in “Sin City”, “Cloverfield”, “Public Enemy”, and
“Avatar”).
The film will be shot on weekends
(Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) beginning Friday, March 4th
2011 and wrapping on Sunday, March 27th 2011 in various
locations around the D/FW Metroplex and our key location in Muenster,
TX (60 minutes north of downtown Fort Worth).
This translates to 12 days of dedicated
shooting, though several roles and background extras may only require
1-3 days on location.
This is a non-union, non-paid
independent feature film, and all actors, crewmembers, and background
extras will be eligible for IMDB credit. Cold drinks, snacks and
meals will be provided on location during shooting. Upon completion,
principal cast will be given DVD copies of the finished film, and all
