Multi-instrumentalist Hugo Flores rose to international attention with his first solo album in 2000. After that he formed the band “Sonic Pulsar” that would further refine his sound and style and lead to the release of 2 albums, one in 2002 the second in 2005. These albums further inspired Hugo to the point of creating a massive multi-album story arc under the moniker “Project Creation”, which has release 2 albums so far, one in 2005 and one in 2007. Now in 2008 Hugo was once again inspired, this time by vocalist Jessica Lehto to create new music outside of the style he’d been working in for the last several years. He brings a goth element to his new project “Factory of Dreams” that is sure to catch your attention.

Factory of Dreams
From the music of Project Creation's mastermind and the beautiful voice and talent of Jessica Lehto, is born Factory of Dreams an incursion into a Fantasy World of Gothic Electronic and Progressive Rock music.

The most acclaimed and biggest project, which follows a story already defined from start to finish, spanning across 4 albums. With the first album released by Progrock Records it's now time for the Bombastic second release 'DAWN ON PYTHER'. It's a conceptual album, and more than an album actually, with a high budget film being produced along with the music, all in CGI plus a videoclip featuring Zara. This is hypnotic and intense Prog-metal combined with ambient elements put together for a totally new sound approach.
Second project, focusing on themes such as space and the universe, and more down-to earth social and political issues. Mix of progressive rock and metal, fusion, ambient and instrumental songs.
Debut album for Hugo Flores, called Atlantis that made the path for the Sonic Pulsar and Project Creation main sound. A mystic blend of ambient textures and pop/rock. Next album already in preparation, and shall be called "Dimensions" featuring an innovative music layout/composition. It'll be straight forward prog metal.

Dawn...The Story: The new planet named Pyther is now growing. The new beings and the civilization of the Floating World that created them and colonized the new planet, are now living together: humans, meka dragonflies, new born and a new breed of Flying Thoughts that appear to have been created by a somehow living Cheops pyramid. The Dragonflies now have finally a garden of their own, a real garden like they were hoping to see someday, since these small entities were developed during the long trip (1st album). But there is one Mechanical Dragonfly that wishes to see more, insatiable. Her thoughts are out there.
Cheops is standing, looking at the Universe. Pyther, with the 3 species living together, is a symbol of respect. The symbol is awake and well. The Floating World arrived with the rest of the people and is now steady, using a few resources to help stabilize the new homeland, thus stopping for a while its endless voyage. The Dragonfly decides to leave to explore the far corners of the Universe, but maintains the connection with Cheops, which in turn is becoming alive and intelligent. Cheops is sending a message to the Dragonfly, and thus, she dreams of a blue planet everyday. A planet with an incredible Ocean.

Project Creation" is the new project by multinstrumentalist Hugo Flores. The first release called Floating World, is a concept album, based on the development of life on a dead planet. For this album several musicians were invited to participate in this adventure. An incredible video clip is also being produced all in CGI/3D to describe the story of the album.

Hugo Flores (taken from the label's Site): "Project Creation is my most ambitious project, not only regarding the number and quality of the involved musicians, but also in terms of storyline, music depth, and overall production. The mixes have been carefully crafted, and the compositions were sculpted around each step in the storyline. It's was a true privilege to be able to count on such wonderful musicians. Working with Linx from the band Forgotten Suns, for example, was just great. The same with the other musicians, all of high quality. A special note to the fabulous work on the Saxophone and flutes by Paulo Chagas, one of the best musicians in the Portuguese progressive scene, Ive worked with.
For Project Creation Floating World, I wanted more than with Sonic Pulsar. The concept demanded a wider sound and different production. I really wanted to capture the emotions of every moment of the story. This is the reason of so many moods, sounds, instruments throughout the cd. And the album evolves, like a child, and has its moments, some simple some much more complex musically, just like life and this is what the album is about, life!
The process of building each song was also like making a sculpture. A simple idea played on the synths, or the guitar, fast became an odyssey, and to look back at the first demos I can only be proud of what each song became. I enjoy my Sonic Pulsar and solo projects, but I have to admit that, to this day, Project Creation is the one that satisfies me the most!"

...It is a game of balance between power and melody, excess and control, expansion and intimacy, shout and smooth. The album mixes symphonic with heavy, new age with metal, progressive with pure rock. And it connects those different aspects in a bright and complex net of constant changes, with atmospheric and even eerie bridges between more powerful parts. I would not consider it Prog-Metal, but more like a bombastic Neo-Prog with symphonic elements which both fans of Prog-Metal and Neo Sympho Prog will undoubtedly like... Full review
These are wholly composed and thought out pieces, making Project Creation's debut a strong beginning, with richly layered textures of sound, an interesting storyline(...). Put that down to strong, engaging performances that make it seem fresh(:::) Very well done. Full review
