Every track on this list is powerful, but "Mission" and "Cut" are the ones that stand out from the rest. Everything falls into place from the heady vocals to the rockin instrumentals. Although a couple of the songs seem as though they could be longer, i.e., "The Leaving" and "Where Have You Gone", they all have an attraction and stand on their own worth. Radio friendly length not withstanding, this is a very enjoyable collection of music and one I found myself listening to over and over again. I expect I'll be hearing more from this band in the future. Definitely a power to be reckoned with. Keep on Rockin!!

If you like Rock music, and you haven't heard this band you are about to be blown away. We all complain that no good bands come along that stand the test of time the way they used to. But, damn...these guys are just as dope as their name implies. To me they sound the way the band Toadies would sound like if they were still relevant...only this vocalist has twice the passion. I just wonder when people see these guys play live realize they aren't looking at the everyday bar band. These guys get heard by the right man, they are going to make some fu@% noise! Their track "Two Faced"...hands down best Rock song on SF.

Once in a while, that incredible CD comes out and you can't exactly put a finger on exactly what it is that makes this so memorable. The songs are written so well with such musicality that you swear that you've had to have heard each one of them at some time in your life, (if not in some other life). An CD where extraneous noise is forgotten and replaced with well-placed, simple instrumentation that sings its own verses with the lyrics. A CD that even though you may listen to it too often to bear to give it one more play, you know that someday you will pick it up again and its fierce chords within will sound as loud the next time. This is one of those CD's.
And you know that every American CD that makes it in the states has one radio-friendly pop song that doesn't get old. Excellently placed music work makes the lyrics of this sound quite profound before the CD turns to a place of encouragement. A ray of sunlight is seen at the end of the music assures you that everything will be all right with the exception of the hanging guitar line that doesn't allow you to completely be sure.
Everything said, it garners my vote as one of the great CD's of the year and I can only wait for the next release of an American artist featuring a catch pop release wrapped up in an incredible full-length CD!
Very Incredible CD! Thank You for the review, as you are a different kind of sound. Your unique talent puts you in the top of my list and I wish you the best in the future.

Project Dopamine has a post grunge base - like bombing Pearland, Texas with 1990's Seattle. I can not escape the influences of 7Mary3, Tool, System of a Down, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Limp Bizkit and the like. The sound is honed into heavy and thick ear-worms. If a band can exist to be dirty and wholesome simultaneously then I think that Project Dopamine has accomplished this in spades. They have instantiated a dopmaninergic response within my skullcap. ---Personal Favorite is 'Dream Aloud'.
