About me:
WE ARE BUYING A PROFESSIONAL SPORTS FRANCHISE, AND THE FANS ARE GOING TO RUN THE SHOW!

THE PLAN...

Our goal is to buy a professional sports franchise and let the fans take the wheel. Most of the people running your favorite teams are no more qualified than the guy serving your drinks. So instead of hiring some overpaid GM to draft the next Ryan Leaf, we are letting the fans control the destiny of the team they root for. The only difference between regular fans and an owner like James Dolan is a ton of money and an insatiable appetite for terrible basketball. Project Franchise has done the homework and come up with a way to buy a pro team and give fans control.

THE CONCEPT IS SIMPLE...

• To fund the purchase of a professional sports franchise by offering fans an inexpensive way to get involved in the way their team is run.

THE PROCESS IS EASY...

• For $5-$10 per year fans will be able to purchase premium community memberships that will allow them to vote and act as part of the PF Team’s Collective General Manager.

• Fans will vote on everything from the team name, colors, coaches and lineups all the way down to the condiments at the concession stand.

HOW IT WILL WORK…

• First, we need fans that support Project Franchise to sign up to be part of the community. .

• When there are enough fans in the community to support the purchase of a team, then we will begin offering premium subscriptions giving everyone the right to vote on all big decisions.

• The amount of memberships & votes sold will determine what type of team we can afford to buy and the fans vote will help make the choice.

• We would love to acquire a serious MLB, NBA, NFL or NHL team but realistically we are looking to purchase (at least a majority stake) in a Minor League Baseball, NBA D-League, Arena Football, or American Hockey League club.
