'Listen to me' is due for release in Spring 2008.

HISTORY: Project Noise is the creation of musician, artist, writer and designer Craig Grannell. His initial ventures into music occurred a decade ago, and ever since he's honed his sound, creating eclectic CDs that aim to combine various elements of contemporary culture and music into a unique 'rockdancepopstorynoisething'. Compared to, amongst others, Wire, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, U96, The Fall, Moby, New Order, Chemical Brothers and Kraftwerk (although not all at once!), Project Noise nonetheless has a voice all of its own.

ON MYSPACE: Of the four tracks currently on MySpace, two are previews of tracks from Project Noise's forthcoming album, 'Listen to me'. 'Betrayed' is an unashamedly blatant alt-pop track with a searing electronic bass-line, while 'Fever' is the most recent track to near completion, with some great hooks.

The other two tracks are from 2005's 'Release'. 'Another Second' is one of the slower songs on the album, and its gestation was very long. Originally beginning life as an angular acoustic guitar track, it evolved into one of the most electronic tracks on the album (with its overtly drum-machine-sounding rhythm). 'Fade one', on the other hand, is a fairly straight pop song that started as a much slower guitar track. The boost in tempo, coupled with the tight, groovy bass and a couple of keyboard lines to die for, gave this track what it needed to grab the attention.

Hey :)

Check it out! I wrote a free book on music production! It's for total beginners, but if you aren't new to music production, maybe you'll still learn something... at least you can send it to your friends who always want to ask you a billion questions about music production! It's totally free too; my goal with this is to accumulate as many BFF's as possible.

To download, go to http://www.donimusic.com/musicproductionschool/

Keep on increasing that peace!
