Sean Barker Project ROMBUS
Project ROMBUS is a project that I have been working for about 8 years. I realize now that this project in fact transcended music in the sense that the ideas for the project started way before any music was laid down or any songs written! It all started after some extreme things were happening in my youth and I began to read some literature that was unlike I had ever read. I started to realize that it was possible that life wasn’t quite as it seemed.
In music I have found the perfect medium to express these things that are very difficult to express (as a lot of musicians do). Music is a form of communication that allows composers to illustrate ideas with more precision than words alone can convey. In the sense that listeners can feel what the writer was feeling at the time of writing the piece; more than if it was simply spoken.
I would like to encourage anyone whom would like to discuss this; to begin a dialog on my comments page. I am in the process of compiling a few blogs in which I will lay down challenging thoughts and hope for a retort! The first blog is up!

hey! we are trying to change something... our new singer erik can't be a full member of dreamscape because the stess to travel a lot is affecting his health. so we decided to work with more than one singer - honestly we will work with even more than two... hopefully you will like that idea! we like it a lot because we will be very flexible and our sound will become even more complex! kind regards! Dude which comment? If I didn't reply it wasn't deliberate at all. I have just been so overwhelmed at the moment with the amount of comments I'm getting and I make a point of responding to each and every one. Undoubtedly some will always fall through the cracks but it's never with the intention of being rude I assure you.
The reason I disabled the html was because of a fan that was sending naked photos of himself to me on my comments page and to bulletins. It was the only way i could stop it. Everytime I turn it back on he creates a new myspace page and starts sending them again...what's a girl to do hey!
