Can there be such thing as nothing or maybe unknown? Because when it comes to our music, even though every band likes to think they are unique, we always refer our project as unknown. It is as if it's an impossible paragon of our imagination.
Every band fits into a format of music. Some bands fall under the categories of rock, metal, alternative, punk, and some others fall under jazz, blues, R&B, pop, or even adult contemporary, and so many more genres to separate. And until now I still believe that the evolution of music has no end.
If I had to state all the interesting pieces of information about how our music came together, note by note, part by part, stage by stage. There would be no description to name our music below any list of categories. And if there is, what would it be? Let’s press this subject to give you an idea and help you draw a picture about our sound.
Imagine an open can. Suppose you fill it in with any kind of your style. A piece of jazz, a slice of punk, a bit of blues, a drop of pop, alternative, and maybe a whole lot a chunk of rock n’ roll. You close that can. Mix it. Stir it. Shake it up, down, whichever you want it your way. Open it. You will come up with a form of what? And you would know exactly the best answer to the question.
“What is our genre?” Is it unknown rock or unknown jazz? Or maybe unknown alternative punk, or a pop blues unknown? Can there really be such thing as unknown?
Call it whatever you want. But we have done it. We have done it in our own perfection. And I know that somewhere someone has done it too.
Try to clear your mind and use it to create your own perfection, somewhat as if it’s an impossible feat for your imagination. Because, if we all believe that the evolution of music has no end…then a new genre of music has been made, and that is what we call now as “unknown”.
That is why what our band name is!
That is what why we exist!
