With the first glance I saw
I saw inside my body and deep within an organ that has been dormant.
I saw shades of silver and blue as if I was underwater.
My eyes were the door, and you were the key.
You effortlessly unlocked a trapped shaken little girl, and let her breathe air again.
She had been drowning in her own rediculous sorrows.
Now puzzled by abruptness she ponders.
Was this a dream? Is this the end?Did I just wake up?
Please ,for life left inside say no.Tell me I'm not waking up the next time you hold me.Tell me you'll be inside my dreams forever.At least let me stay there, in that moment, under my tree with the lips of my savior locked on to mine, as he peered into my soul and lit the fire inside me.

First of all my name is Memorie. I have no tattoos or piercings, not even my ears.Me, Myself ,and Memorie have more hang ups and phobias than you think is necessary. I mean think about it, try growing up as a tall skinny freckle face redhead with a high IQ, and serious emotional damage. Also an extremely abusive/ drug induced set of parents. Being in a town in the center of the bible belt.Even your artistic friends tell you your insane.I'm ridiculously ridiculous.As complicated as i am, people want to categorize me in a more simple fashion. Have at it, cuz' you'll just be chasing your tail in circles for the rest of eternity. I'm one of the more complicated personalities that you would ever encounter.I have always been on the same perilous journey, to find another poet's heart with an artist's soul.For the most part I'm a sad person, and it seems like just when I think I've stumbled upon a reason to smile, it usually becomes a new reason for me crawl back into my little dark room and cry with even more loss of hope than before.I feel as if i will always fall for the men that I could never realistically keep in my life, its always the ones that hate me for who I am and spend more time trying to change me then just excepting our differences . So challenge me on that one. Prove your smile is real,and you really love me, don't just spit out some romantic sounding BS, because I'm a hopeless romantic that wears her heart on her sleeve.Do us all a favor and shut up and kiss me. I am trying still for this journey and I feel as if that's the only thing I'm here for sometimes, just to be broken down.And if there were a God, he either would get a huge kick out my life, or just shake his head at me.I'm actually crying as I am writing this, I don't even know why to be honest.
