About me:
THE MISSION
to bring fresh, innovative writing and art projects from the small stream into the mainstream to a world that desperately needs it.
THE HISTORY
propaganda press is a d.i.y. underground small press company run by a handful of writers, editors, and artists who share a common vision: to provide an outlet for small scale authors to get their writing, art, and creative projects to the masses. We have existed since 1994, creating chapbooks, paperbacks, zines, online resources, zine libraries, spoken word events, poetry readings, literature collections, and much more.
THE MAIN EDITORS
leah angstman
has been creating zines since eighth grade. She has taught writing classes, published many of her own books, and existed in the small press for over a decade to bring you new d.i.y. projects, tools, and ideas. leah currently lives in Boston, where she spends her time writing, editing, painting, and dabbling her fingers in hundreds of creative projects.
Mike Litos
has been an avid fan and critic of narrative fiction spanning all different media throughout the entirety of his life. He is fluent in many languages, both human and machine, and will be utilizing some of those skills to provide technical support to propaganda press. Mike is now studying to earn his PhD in particle physics at Boston University.
