If you haven't yet, read "Lullaby" by Chuck Palahniuk. It's fucking amazing. One of his inspirations is Ken Kesey, and I know you'll love the whole shifting of power aspect along with the ideas of control. I'd say more, but I don't want to ruin for you :) Read it and then we can talk all about it!!
