.....This story starts taking shape around 2003 when guitarist and singer Daniel, backed up by a few original tunes, joins forces with his cousin, poet Andy. Andy soon takes on the bass and collaborates with lyrics and artwork. After a while, they put a lot of material together but both of them knew that if they wanted their songs to be heard, they had to go somewhere with a hectic music scene. London was their goal. In 2006, Daniel arrives in London and manages to have some live experience by performing short acoustic showcases at small venues. One year after Andy comes to London and reunites with his cousin, they two are faced with the struggle for finding a drummer. Near the end of 2007, they contact Fabi, the missing piece they were looking for. Fabi's energetic style and contribution with the rhythm section fit perfectly with Daniel and Andy's repertoire. After a few months of rehearsals, they three go in the studio to record six-song demo from which you can listen to 5 tracks on this website. Last but not least, they think of a name that would describe everything they feel about not belonging anywhere in particular but just being Proper Strangers.
