The Prophets were a band that played the Louisville KY area from around 1995-2002. The band has been on an extended break since then. The Prophets recorded two albums "Happiness Dispenser" and "Music Concrete". .... "Happiness Dispenser" was released in 1998 and recorded at Falk Studios by Tim Haertel. The song "Optional Rain" was played frequently on ..WFPK.. in Louisville..... "Music Concrete" was released in 2000 and was recorded at ..Echo Park Studio.. in Bloomington Indiana. The album was engineered and produced by Paul Mahern who had worked with many great artists from Iggy Pop to John Mellencamp. -
